ABOUT ME

Pottery is a very tactile craft. Throughout the process of making I try to keep the clay's soft and plastic qualities alive.  I make pots which are both practical and delightful to use and  enrich our visual and tactile environment.

My raku pots are made with emphasis on texture and shapes that are simple yet have a softness, a freedom and a sculptural quality. I enjoy the unpredictable and sometimes surprisingly beautiful results you get from a raku firing which makes it an exciting art form. In all my pots I try to get beautiful shapes combined with glazes which move, make the pot come alive and are totally unique.
